Diamant Software is a market leader for accounting and financial-control solutions, with a focus on midsize companies.
The challenge:
Diamant Software´s existing Website was not in line with the requirements of its target group, as revealed by the low number of leads it generated. The Website´s layout and design did not reflect the fact that Diamant Software is an innovative company with more than 4,000 customers: It had an outdated look and feel, plus usability and content structure left a lot to be desired. In addition, the content lacked consistency and contained very little tangible information.
The aims:
The goal of the project was to turn the Website into a communications channel for addressing potential customers. This was to be achieved by delivering new content and a brand-new layout, improving structure and usability, and through search-engine optimization. All steps were taken with the aim of positioning Diamant as a high-quality provider and reaching the core target group of accounting and IT managers, as well as C-level executives.
The implementation:
All existing Website content was analyzed to verify whether it met the defined communications goal. The site, which had grown over the years through the addition of new content, was incoherent in places. What´s more, accessing the information was difficult due to complex navigation.
The site was enhanced with new multimedia content, for example, videos featuring customer interviews. What´s more, information from print publications such as brochures was integrated with the Website. Thanks to improved navigation, visitors can now drill down to further levels of made-to-measure information more quickly. In addition, search-engine optimization has increased keyword density, and general navigation is now significantly easier thanks to striking images and icons.

The new Diamant Website not only looks better – it is now more suitable for generating leads. Multimedia offerings, simplified access to more detailed, better structured information, and industry-specific content ensure that customers and prospects find exactly what they are looking for. Navigation has been streamlined and simplified, particularly for new visitors, thanks to a more logical structure. Key elements can be located much more quickly: For example, customers can now subscribe to the newsletter with just a single click instead of four, and can access the demo feature with two clicks compared to five. In addition, users can contact Diamant directly from almost every page. The text is now of significantly higher quality, benefits are communicated more clearly, and the consistent tone of voice reinforces the brand image.
